Does anyone know of a resource to cross reference retired pSeries models like the 650-6m2...I do not what the model numbers are for the legacy RS/6000 products..I am new to System p and I am not too familiar with the Power 4 line of products.

I don't think there's a reference on IBM's site so I'll give you a few. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for. P690 = 7040-681 P680 = 7017-S85 P670 = 7040-671 P660 = 7026-6H1 & 7026-6M1 P650 = 7038-6M2 P640 = 7026-B80 P630 = 7028-6C4 & 7028-6E4 P615 = 7029-6C3 & 7029-6E3 The 7043-140 & 7043-150 are sometimes called 43P The 7044-270 is sometimes called 44P |

Thank you tomasle this is a great help...You know that is one thing i noticed that HP does better than IBM...ymake public all thier retired products and option part numbers...I seem to have some difficulty tracking down feature codes for all the retired products..
