Hi folks- We have an LPAR on a 55A that has a GXT135P adapter and the USB ports assigned to it. CDE comes up as expected and the keyboard works. However the mouse does not work. We have tried it both with the HP network KVM switch and with a keyboard and mouse that work when connected to the HMC. No mouse on the LPAR. AIX is at 5300-05-00. It is unlikely we can upgrade to TL6 right away, and are not certain if the .60 version of devices.usbif.030102.rte would fix it anyway. Supportline was helpless. The comment came back "it's a 50/50 chance of working if it is a non-IBM mouse". This LPAR has to be connected to the KVM ultimately as it is managed remotely. Makes me pine for clunky old PS/2 ports... Any thoughts? Thanks-Jake |
