How to share tape drive

hello all ,

I want to share a tape drive of machine 7028-6E1 with 9110-51A so i can restore my data from the tape drive to particular filesystem on 9110-51A .

The tape drive which is on 7028-6E1 is Differential SCSI 4mm tape drive

Can any body help me on this

We need a bit more info to help.

What is the AIX version?
What is the tape drive?
What application are you using to backup and restore the data?

well we have the AIX VERSION 5.3 ML 5 .... we need to restore the file system of our ERP application on the other system ...... tape drive type is Differential SCSI 4 mm tape drive DDS4
