After a firmware upgrade on a p520, lsmcode reports the following: The current permanent system firmware image is SF225_096 The current temporary system firmware image is UNKNOWN I also got the following message: A PROBLEM WAS DETECTED ON Wed Feb 28 17:22:45 CST 2007 801014 The Service Request Number(s)/Probable Cause(s) (causes are listed in descending order of probability): B181300A: Platform Firmware Predictive Error, general. Refer to the system service documentation for more information. Additional Words: 2-030000F0 3-523C8210 4-C13920FF 5-40000000 6-00000080 7-00000000 8-00005300 9-00000000 Error log information: Date: Wed Feb 28 17:22:04 CST 2007 Sequence number: 41 Label: SCAN_ERROR_CHRP Priority: H Maintainence Procedure: FSPSP04 Priority: M Maintainence Procedure: FSPSP05 I rejected the microde and tried to upgrade it again, with the same results. The same upgrade on a second p520 went fine. Thanks in advance. |

I have had the same issue with a few 9110-510 Reject the bad microcode & apply some lower levels then re-apply the code that was giving you problems. If still an issue the sysplanner may have to be replaced. Cheers |
