After a firmware upgrade on a p520, lsmcode reports the following:

The current permanent system firmware image is SF225_096
The current temporary system firmware image is UNKNOWN

I also got the following message:

A PROBLEM WAS DETECTED ON Wed Feb 28 17:22:45 CST 2007 801014

I rejected the microde and tried to upgrade it again, with the same results.

The same upgrade on a second p520 went fine.

I have had the same issue with a few 9110-510

Reject the bad microcode & apply some lower levels then re-apply the code that was giving you problems. If still an issue the sysplanner may have to be replaced.
