Question Error SYSTEM P5 110000AC

Hello, i'm new on the forum, i got an error when there was an electrical break here in our shop, the sytem has shutdown.

When he the P5 was reboot, i had this message on my console:

110000AC: Power/Cooling subsystem Unrecovered Error, general. Refer to the
system service documentation for more information.

The problem seems resolve, because my system restart very well.

But: I have an orange light/Warning on my system, is it possible to delete it?

thank you in advance.

Re: Error SYSTEM P5 110000AC

diag, task selection, system indicators, turn it off.

or the proper way, which will also get rid of the repeat warnings from diag ela:
diag, advanced diags, system verification, sysplanar0.

or the other way, diag, task selection, log a repair action, sysplanar0.

you will probably also need to edit the inittab to take out the wall rc.powerfail message.

Re: Error SYSTEM P5 110000AC

Hi Duke,

I've got a p510 with this exact error but although you've told us how to remove the orange light could you expand just a little more as I'm not sure where to start looking for diag ..... is it through smit?

btw, I don't have the luxury of an HMC - I've been using a terminal session and exceed to date.

Sorry to be such a novice!

Dan

Re: Error SYSTEM P5 110000AC

This error just indicates an AC power loss so the fault light can be cleared as described by duke900ssd. There is also a way to clear it from the command line but I can't recall the exact syntax. I think it might be "/usr/lpp/diagnostics/bin/usysfault -s normal".

Just my 2 cents worth...The IBM Systems Information Center is a great resource to look up reference codes:
