AIX 5.3 multipathing question

Hi guys,

I've got a p550 system connected to a DS4700 with 2 Expansion trays through 2 Brocade switches.
I am trying to figure out a command to list the dual paths to the LUNs from the host perspective.
fget_config -Av does not provide that info,

thanks!

Re: AIX 5.3 multipathing question

lspath shows hdisk0 and hdisk1 only ( the local drives in rootvg )

I think we are using the RDAC drivers that are supposed to provide multipathing, sorry if that doesn't make sense, I'm from a Solaris/VxVM background.

i thought using mpio with the ds4000 was not a best practice since the ds4000 series provides only and active and passive path.

We are using RDAC for multipathing but only one DS4700 controller can provide an active path at a time by the looks of it... if dac0 dies, the logical drive will fail to dac1, but it doesn't seem to be able to use both for load balancing...
