Hi Does anyone have any tips as to the firmware upgrade of a 9133-55a, a 4300 and an exp710. I cannot find anything that recommends a particular order of even something which gives me some guidance on how to do this.. |

I's do the 55a first as upgrade of that should have no effect on the SAN stuff. Watch out that you may need to update the HMC before you do the 55A firmware. Start everything up to make sure that worked. Power everythiung down again. Then for the SAn devices do the the 4300 first and then the EXP710.

Thanks, On the the upgrade pages you seem to need to select each individual component how do you ascertain what you have, e.g Ethernet adaptors and fibre, do we need to do this for all three or can you just down load the firmware package and it will install the required items as required. Thank you again for all your help on this, I am new to this role and am just trying to get a clear understanding before upgrading... |
