Trying to locate files

I am trying to pull some Prophet 21 files off an old AIX box. I know the folder that they are supposed to be in, and the file names and extents, but I can't see them, or find them with the find command.
Is there some way that they are hidden? I go to the folder and key ls -a, but still no luck. They should be .da files.
Any help?
