I'm VERY glad that I found this site. I have provided system admin support for AIX v4.3.3 and v5.2 at my previous job, but we didn't utilize VIO or LPARs.

I currently work for a retail beddding company in Houston that's growing tremendously. I have the exciting job of managing a p5 570 that utilizes VIO and LPARs. Luckily, I managed VMWare servers previously, so the technology isn't too different, although IBM has certainly made VIO a true science.

I look forward to learning a lot from this site and the forums.
