I have worked for IBM for 12 years on iSeries (AS/400) platform. A vendor supplied product has dropped iSeries support and I am responsible for moving this EDI over the Internet application to an AIX system. Purchased my own P44-170 (power3?) last year to kick-start my learning. The production systems are currently being installed and must be active before June 15th. Found this site from a Google search while trying to resolve an issue by leveraging email relaying on the AIX box. Remaining issues are accessing the system using AIXTERM from Win/XP, installing system fixpaks and getting DB2 to work. |
