Wink Hello everybody

Hello there!

First of all, sorryby advance for my (poor) english, (but you probably thank me to not hearing me). I'm an Freelance IT consultant in the domain of Software Configuration (and Change) Managment, working for an small (but elitist) UK compagny (DALETECH SERVICES LLC), but it does not really matter.
I recently bought an IBM RS/6000 machine with GXT 6000 video card for my hobby (Yes!) and I'm really exciting to imagine how I can get to finaly install the AIX 4.3.3 (and why not, AIX 5.3 after a firmware update).

I' got a computer when I was 12 years old. It was a Intel 8085 PC with CPM/86 installed. My dady get it back from its office. After a night spend exploring the "monster", I finally decided to try the "unformat command". I guessed that it was a bad idea, so I pull off the electric plug, in order to stop the process (cause the keyboard was blocked). Dad gave me another PC the next day (Thanks dad!).

Now i tried several OS (Linux, *Bsd, Qnx, unix, Irix, ...) and continue to be passionate by IT world.

I'm waiting for an AS/400, a RS/6000 44P 270 fully loaded and why not an S/390.

I'm glad to be logged on the pseriestech talk forum.

Regardsn and See you on the posts....
