hello. I work for a pseries/ibm storage-centric business partner. I've been involved in the aix/ibm storage world since 1993. I'm a double cate (old school and new school) . I helped write many of the terrible questions in the cert exams (the old hacmp, admin, and pssp tests). yes, all of the questions suck. its a terrible IBM way vs. real way struggle. I had no involvement with 062. I do a ton of rollouts of new gear to customer sites. in 2006, i configured and delivered approx 3 petabytes of DS8x, 1 petabyte of DS6x, 40 SVC nodes, maybe 120 pseries boxes and countless HMCs. I also managed to migrate 2 petabytes from competing platforms this year with no dataloss.much of it via the old school mklvcopy/migratepv/bruteforce way,but much of it via the image-mode-vdisk SVC way. I also do a lot of ad-hoc mentoring, best practices delivery, and perf tuning resolution for storage and aix. and a buncha other stuff |
