Hello!

Howdy folks! Who am I? More importantly, why do you care? Since you are reading this I have to assume you do care or you have absolutely no life! Either way here is my info so you don't totally waste your time...

I have been in the IT sector professionally since 1993. Prior to that I dabbled as the go to guy for computer "stuff" just about everywhere I worked. I have administered and/or sold systems running DOS/Windows, Novell Netware, HP-UX, SUN OS/Solaris, and of course the #1 OS in the world A I X!!! Guess where my bias lies??? I have worked for private sector, government, IBM services, IBM outsourcing, and now serve as an infrastructure systems architect (certified as such) for IBM's largest business partner Mainline Information Systems (do the google thing to see our page). I now focus on IBM pSeries systems, storage, TSM and DR solutions. I hang around the mid-south mostly but am considered a national resource so I end up travelling from time to time.

I know a LOT about AIX and IBM virtualization (both server and storage) but I find out every day there is a LOT MORE that I don't know! I like it that way because if there ever comes a day when there isn't anything else to learn...time to do something else! I'm looking forward to bouncing stuff off y'all and having you bounce stuff off me (unless I can dodge it!).
