| Ok, ok heres a post to stop the annoying "no posts" message already ![]() I look after a p690, p55a and a couple of p615. We're still stuck on AIX 5.2 due to a couple of pesky apps but should be escaping to AIX 5.3 midway through this year. I'm migrating our dev environments onto the p55a from the p690 and will be exploring the wonderful world of VIO and micro-partitioning as a result. I've been working with AIX now for over 11 years and I'm very happy with it. I also use Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) extensively and have yet to anything else come close to doing what it can do. Staunchly anti-microsoft but still able to interact with its various incarnations, albiet reluctantly. |
