Last time I tried to install Suse on a partition, I got some packages from the IBM website for stuff like RSCT that would enable micro-partitioning and vio. Now I can't find that stuff again. What I found before wasn't an exact match for my Suse 10 distro and I think in conjunction with yast I used a little too much force in installing it and the lpar never rebooted. Since I don't know linux like I know AIX and didn't really have anything running on the system, I just reinstalled. Where is this stuff? I only have a demo copy of Suse and i don't see it on there. |
