linux toolkit vs add repo

Hi,

I'll be installing some larp in the next weeks on 2 P6 570 servers. I found the linux toolkit, which seems to be a must install. The kit allows me the prepare the installation, of my SLES servers (I guess it would be the same for RHES). By looking at the DVD, I guess I can also directly install SLES, then add the linux toolkit as another installation source, and then install the rpm.

Does installing from the linux toolkit vs installing from sles (then installing rpm for the toolkit) makes any differences ?
