Hello Every one

Hello every body. I have been advised to send a personal note so every body will know just who I am.

Well first things first. I have been messing with computers since they were vacume tubes. Does anybody remember the SAGE system and the Nike Hurclese anit aircraft missle or does that date me.

I current work for a IBM business partner that sells pSeries, Disk storage, Tape libraries, and just about any thing you can think of. As for AIX, well I have figured out more ways to break it than most people. I currently will have the beta version of AIX 6 in a couple of weeks when IBM gets around to releasing it to the ISV's and business partners.

If any of you guy and girls, need me to check something out, I have access to IBM econfig, and have a ton of hardware in the shop. I got lots of powerIII and power 4 stuff, and will have a power 5 box for my very onw in a month or so. Boss is getting it so we can get speced up on Lpars, and virtualization. I also have done HACMP on AIX as well as FAST CONNECT for AIX, HTTP Server on AIX and Tivoli storage manager on AIX. Also have experience with Oracle on AIX and Linux. I run Linux Fedora Core 5 on my T-30 lap top and it is my standard daily use machine.

Any thing you might want to know about IBM pSeries or AIX just run it by me and I will help you out. I am not shy in telling you I don't know but I am willing to work on a problem if it is intresting enough.

I am also a Airplane pilot, a airplane mechanic, a avionics tech, horseman, and all around good guy.
