How do I create a Logical Partition on an HMC for VIOS? The problem that I am having is that I am not able to see the ethernet adapters properly. I have allocated the entire system's resources for this partition, but I am still not able to communicate with my network.          |

What do you mean by "not see the ethernet adapters properly"? Didi you set the partition type to Virtual IO Server? How are you installing the VIO software?

hmm, setting up the network is not immediatley obvious if you have never done it before. Have you mananged to setup the harddrives and installed vios yet? I prefer to add my resources one when build a new system |
