vio server: san (2 mirror disk) some questions?

Hi pseries friends,

i have some questions.

yesterday i wonder, how to set this senario and is there any problems to do this..

anyway:

it is a bit difficul to describe my probleme, because my english is not so well ( so i have to improve my english)

1x p520 with one lpar and a vio-server
1x hmc
2x san ( clariion)



so my vio has 2 luns attached (lun1 and lun2)

my lpar1(aix) should have a configuration file, where only lun1 is attached at.

--> lun1 should the virtual hdisk of my lpar1 (aix5)

lun2 is a mirror disk of lun1.

so my question now, what i should to do, if i want to switch between lun1 and lun2 as a virtual hdisk of my aix..

can i a stop clariion(lun1) and say my lpar: "ok lun1 is not available anywhere, so use lun2 instead of lun1."

VIO shares the two disks to the vhost(LPAR).

The machine(LPAR) mirrors these two. If one fails it uses the other.

thx for you answer, but what happens if clariion mirrors these two luns...?

is there any config on the vio which scsi adapter service the luns
