Hi all, I am new to APV, I would like to know the vhost & vio client association, for example how do i know which vio client does vhost3 refer to ? Any command to check ?

As padmin user issue the command
lsmap -vadapter vhost6
SVSA Physloc Client Partition ID
--------------- -------------------------------------------- ------------------
vhost6 U9117.570.6558B3C-V4-C9 0x0000000b

This means client partition id is 12.

If the client Partition ID was in hex, the 0x0000000b should be 11. Thanks for your help

You can also get a quick view of all the vhost devices if your HMC is fairly up to date by right-clicking on the VIOS -> Virtual I/O -> Virtual SCSI Adapters.
