Hello, I got a question about assigning SEAs to the LPAR-Client-Adapters. Wanna configure some LPARs in different networks, but without trunked switchports. Greets. Last edited by elocin; April 14th, 2008 at 10:15. |

Hi, I have a few VIO setups where I have several different VLANs. I can assign each LPAR virtual adapter to be part of any of the networks. This is a fairly standard situation. I assume you created the virtual adapters, the SEA adapaters and the control channel adapters on the VIO servers. And on the LPAR, it sounds like you modified the profile to change the VLAN ID. Did you shutdown the VIO server and the LPAR and reactivate them? That is the only way to get the newly updated profile activated. |
