Hi guys i must migrate 3 test was lpar under vio , and virtualize both lan and san . with the minimum downtime possible . no questions about the lan , the san and the external vg are my first preoccupation , rootvg will be re-created from a mksyb or cloning and moving disk by alt_disk_install . extra vio i've sdd installed on ds8000 , and ill'go to sddpcm ( on both vio ) with mpio . for you i can simply varyoffvg , umount all external fs shutdown lpar , power on the vio client_lpar , restore the mksysb , and after storage people mask the lun to vio , mapping this device to client_lpar and import the vg from disks ??! |
