| Hello All, I am pretty new to the VIOS concept and have some basic queries here. Hope I will get best answers from the experts here. 1. I want to map the virtual disks and lans on the partitions to the physical disk and lan. How do I do it? Please explain me the detailed steps. 2. Are there any APIs to write a program which should reflect the load (like CPU, DISK, Network) of the partition on VIOS? 3. When nmon shows the Disk IO, Network load CPU load etc of other partitions, it must have considered the communication between VIOS and partitions. Even that includes some IO, some CPU usage, network useage. So are there any commands or APIs to distinguish between this load and load caused only by that particular partition? 4. How do I start xmservd/xmtopas on VIOS. Its not starting. Are there any arguments I need to pass along with xmtopas (I am trying xmtopas -p3). Kindly guie me. Thanks and Regards, Vijay |
