| I have just updated my VIO server to 1.5.1.1 and one of the new features compared to 1.3 is the ability to use file backed SCSI devices. Is this just a feature of POWER6? as I cannot find any way to configure them - or in fact any documentation at all. The closet I can get is the course information on AN021 which has sections on file backed virtual disks and optical drives. Even the latest "PowerVM Virtualization on IBM System p - Introduction and Configuration" only mentions the feature but does not document it. Does anyone have any information on how this is done? Many Thanks Peter |
