hi friends.. Primary Serve : P570 with 8 CPU and 32 GB mem secondary Server : P570 with 4 CPU and 32 GB Mem. HMC version : 6.1 AIX : 5.3 ML 5 HACMP : 5.4 i have 2 node cluster..i have configured application server in such a way that when failover take place in secondary server..some lapr will be down and my db lpar will take resource from that lpar..this scripts works find for processor..but it takes 30 mins to move 16 GB memory..some times it get timed out..i have also tried it allocate it from GUI but it takes same time..even if donor LPAR is down.. can any one help ritesh |

Hi Hmmm, i think it has to do with Page Table size that is very high for your 32 Gb systems. Have you tried moving 8GB first in order to start you server and applications and then using another script you can increase the RAM in 8GB steps.
