Hi Sorry. You cannot. In JS21 the IVM (Integrated Virtualization Machine) by default creates a whole Logical Partition with all physical resources and then allows you the creation of some other LPARs using resources provided by the first LPAR (the whole one, it's really a VIOS LPAR). Hi Isnt'n RAC supported on JS21 ?? Hmmm, well i once configured one JS21 for SAP development and QA enviroments for a commercial banking customer. I remember SAN admins gave me many LUNs and using IVM i created Storage Pools and assign to each LPAR. I remember both of them ran Oracle 10. But i don0t think it was a RAC configuration. Anyway, hope this helps
