Hi, i have P570 serv with VIOS and 8 partitions. everything is working good. But now i need to add 1 virtual HDD to this partition. In VIO console ja created LV with mklv commend . Then mkvdev command for mapping it to the needed virtual adapter (vhost4) So lsmap command shows that 2 logical volumes are now mapped to this virtual adapter. I restarted partition but new scsi is not gonna to appear there .. Can anybody give some advices where can be the problem. PS! Sorry for bad english.          |

Hi, Ok you don't need to restart the server everytime. Just do cfgmgr on the client, and check if the disks are now present with lspv. Did you allocate the disks to the correct virtual adapter? And it this adapter, vhost4, set as desired or required? |
