VTERM not accepting input

VTERM not accepting input

Hi all,
We have a p520 running full system partition attached to a 5.2.1 HMC. Whenever we open a Terminal Window, the login screen comes up but in all tries we can't login because no characters is accepted when we type in the terminal. Is there a fix for that or there is an configuration missing?

I think I saw a cd which comes along with the HMC recovery cd . The title on that cd would something like "correct mkvterm". Maybe that will help
