Question Reset Fsp Card

Hi dear Friend,
i've a problem with a connection with the FSP on p570.
Everytime i disconnect my HMC cable from the FSP card, i lost the connection with the HMC.
Is there a procedure to reset this card without turn off the entire machine?

we have the same issue which we resolve quite strangely.

plug and ethernet cable, running from a "live" port, and stick it into the second ethernet port on the P570/fsp card.

this solution was backed by IBM support, though even they do not know why.

zahier, the reason the work around is successful is because you are attaching to the second port on the FSP card (to the HMC, this is a new connx). once you have a successful connection on the second port, use ASMI to determine your problem on the first port.
