I have loaded the HMC software on a X3650 server (changed BIOS type to match 7042CR4). System loads without any problems, I assign an IP address and configure the unit. Once I reboot the system after installation (power off and on) system loads and gives ne the below errors and hangs from there

Warning: expected kernel ver 2.6.16.46-196-smp adn running ver 2.6.16.46-196-smp

the system continues from there and halts at the below error

Failed: mount -o ro /dev/sda2 /realroot
do-mount /dev/sda2 /realroot failed
Failed to pivot root

Please can somebody let me know how to fix

Seems like you have a Knoppix boot loader on your boot drive.
And I've been dying to use this.....
Let me google that for you
