I currently manage 4 HMC for the p5 and 2 for the new P6. I am noticing more and more that the Event Log is reporting the follwoing: Reference code E3326701 Reference code extension 00006701 System reference code E3326701 Status Open First reported time Feb 15, 2008 12:23:48 PM Last reported time Feb 15, 2008 12:23:48 PM Primary data event timestamp Feb 15, 2008 12:23:48 PM Failing HMC MTMS 7310-CR2/10634EA Serviceable event text Licensed internal code has detected a problem I have called IBM on occassion (others has been Call-Home generated) and they always ask me if everything is OK, it seems that the refernce code (and it varies) is very generic and they can't point to anything specific. It is very annoying and they don't seem to reflect any real problems. Has anyone run into this? Thanks |

1- The failing MTS is your HMC 7310, as this is the unique occurence, did you reboot your HMC.....First thing to do on HMC issue....Did the error reported again on a later time ? 2- Did you try to run the "check system readness" under LIC management, this can be more verbose.

Yes, I have done all that. But since I posted that message I have upgrade the HMC from 7.3.1 to 7.3.3 and the issue has disappear. I guess IBM did see a problem with this and corrected. Thank you for your suggestions |
