I have noticed in Redbooks and mentioned on various websites that under "Service Applications" on some HMC's there is an inventory scout option to have the HMC run this on the ndoes. However I can't see this on my P5 HMC which is at code level 6.1. Is Inventory Scout on the HMC something that I should be installing seperately? Thanks, Sam |

I work on a HMC version 7 box and I don't see any inventory scout options. In the past I have always used the java applet on this site to do the inventory scouting: http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/mds/fetch?page=mds.html |
