Smile How to configure a RAID set on IBM pseries???

Hi,

can somebody tell me, how to setup the RAIDconfiguration on an IBM pseries 520 without using the HMC.
I wasn't able to find something about that in the IBM redbooks.

well... RAID without HMC? Don't understand question... Do you use LPARs or not?

Hi Pataya,

Could you make your question more clearly?
For example: Your pSeries 520 has 4 HDDs and you want to make RAID 0, 10 or 5 you can use Diagnostic disk to cread RAID array before installing OS. Or something else?....
