HMC v7 Terminal window size

The java applet for the terminal connection from my HMC to my hosts is a fixed sized. I would like to have it maximized to use the full window. Can anyone tell me how this can be done?

On HMC V6, it was as easy as maximizing the window.

Thanks in advance

Re: HMC v7 Terminal window size

I'd not noticed that, I can't resize the window either, locally or remotely.
I usually use the HMC remotely but I don't use the remote terminal function remotely.
If I want the console on an LPAR I ssh to the HMC with putty and then use vtmenu for the console.
It saves loading the WebSM and the console can be resized.
If you've not used vtmenu before, to get back to the vtmenu from a lpar console, exit the shell and then use:
~.
and the console will exit.

Change font size to appropriate value. Note that this change will be lost after closing java applet.

Personally i'm wondering why the hell IBM switched from WebSM to this "native browser crap".

Re: HMC v7 Terminal window size

Changing the font size will not allow you to display any more lines or information, it will just be bigger text.
The http interface is loads better than the nasty java remote WebSM app that took an age to download and an age to start!

Re: HMC v7 Terminal window size

Its the same with other versions of the HMC that the terminal is fixed at vt100 size.
