| I wonder if anyone can help ? I work for an IBM Hosting and Managed Services partner. We host and manage multiple pSeries (or is that now Series P???) ![]() We're just getting to grips with the new IBM econfig and trying to retro fit some existing configurations that were supplied/ordered by third parties for which we do not have up to date configs. We've been informed that by using the Web based Systems Manager on the HMC, choosing “Service Applications”, then “Service Focal Point”, then select ing “Collect VPD Information” we can import the output back into econfig. However, the HMC we are using does not have a floppy drive and the WebSM options seem to mandate this. Does anyone know if it is possible to re-direct the output from the "Collect VPD Information" or somehow or other get this information? Looking forward to helpful suggestions (we already know about lssyscfg and lshwres) but were hoping for a more direct route into econfig. Thanks Darren
