Greetings All, Anyone know if it is possible to create a recovery CD for the HMC based on your current setup. i.e. I've lost the recovery CD fro V6.1 but can create a backup of critical data. I want to rebuild the HMC for a DR test. Regards pSerious |

Don't think it's possible. You can download the recovery CD's from the IBM website and then use your critical console data backup to restore the configuration. Ben

Thanks for that Ben. Is it a question of burning the downloaded recovery image to a CD ?. Will this be bootable to the HMC ? |

The recovery images are DVDs not CDs, and they are bootable - assuming you use your DVD burning software correctly.
