Did anyone know you can telnet into Linux on the HMC 7310CR3's? I did not see any doc files on that and there is a username and password that i do not have and was not included in the HMC setup wizard..Does nay one know what the default username and password is to telnet into the HMC?

Hi Previous versions of HMC (3.x) let you telnet or ssh to the HMC using the hscroot userid or even root userid. Newest versions does not allow this option anymore for root user. You can still use ssh in order to connect to the HMC and issue commands. Default userid and password should be: hscroot / abc123 Hope this helps
