Hi all,

I'm kind of a newbie in the marvelous IBM RS6000/pSeries/System p world !
I have a H70 Enterprise server and I'm struggling to do a pretty basic task.

I installed & configured VNC.
My local user has a .xstartup :

"/usr/dt/bin/dtsession &".

When I start locally vncserver, I can remote access by a vnc viewer, having the full DT stuff : control panel, menus etc...

When I start vncserver via rlogin, or SSH. It starts properly, I can reach it, but the output is an empty workspace, without any toolbars, and with a bogus file explorer.

The .dt/errorlog :

VNC Logs are the same in both cases. Some font complains, nothing more.
I'm suspecting any DISPLAY environment variable misset...

I'm always mixing up things with DISPLAYs
