I'm trying to nfs mount a directory from my nim server on my vios. I'm getting the following mount errors mount: 1831-011 access denied mount: 1831-008 giving up on I've tried multiple nfs suggestions for this error but can't seem to get past it. I'm attempting the mount on the vios as root after running oem_setup_env. Is there a specific nfs setting on my nim server, ie. security, required for vios to successfully mount? I can mount this from any other nfs client with no problems. TIA. |

This error is usually caused by not having an entry for the VIO server in the hosts file of the NIM server. There is no need to run this command as oem_setup_env there is a mount command under the VIO shell.
