I have some strange behaviour with timezones on aix5.3 This behaviour occurs with nfs filesystems on a netapp filer. the timestamp is one hour behind the real time. What I notice there are 2 different timezones active and it seems that nfs filesystems on the netapp filer picks the value of 'date -u' In the /etc/enviroment TZ=NFT-1 dst (daylight savings time) is not active Is there a way to avoid this? f.e. time on aix: SITANL5-P550 # date -u Tue Apr 8 12:36:03 GMT 2008 SITANL5-P550 # date Tue Apr 8 13:36:07 NFT 2008
