Dear Fiends,

I trying to find if System Director is supported on Power 4 server (9114-275). on server AIX 6.1 is installed. Does anyone please advise?


Also, does Sys director require license or is there any free or /trial version is available?

Due your question ist not total clear but I think you mean if IBM System Director Clients can be on Power4 Hardware installed, am I right? Here is your answer:

If you want to install your IBM Systems Director on Power4 Hardware here is your answer Recommended hardware requirements for IBM Systems Director Server running on AIX
Anyway if you use the System Director Software I recommend to stay on the 5.x version due it seems that version 6.1 only supports Power5 & 6.
