Hi Guys, I'm having a few problems with a restvg. I created it on a 570 AIX 5.3 ML4 using smit. The tape device block size is set to 0. The savevg went ok with no errors; however when I'm restoring I get the following messages. 0511-110 There is an unpacking error 0511-708 The is an interneal unpacking error decode failure 0511-121 Out of space I've found an APAR that matched mine on the IBM site but that was on 5.1 and the solution was not to use variable block size, which doesn't help me now. I did a second savevg after setting the tape device block size to 51200 and that also fails. Any ideas? |
