Hi people, i'm solaris admin beginning with aix systems. I have some pseries with ds8000 series and ess800, i need move lpars from a pseries to the other, but i have problems with the rootvg, because i cant quit the reserve from the disk (and i cant boot from the disk), the problem is only with rootvg, the other volumes is ok. For the reserve, i assigned the rootvg lun to a lpar from other pseries, and i try to quit the reservation with lquerypr, but this dont work, some idea?. thx.          |

Hi There I think you need to look at clearing the reserve attribute on the disk. I actually haven't had to do this before so can't speak from experience. Have a look at this document pSeries and AIX Information Center HTH Steve
