question abt CUoD

hi friends,

I have 1 p570 box with 8 cpu and 64 GB mem.

Note : server is standalone..( no HMC)

when i boot server it shows only 48 Gb mem. i have cross check this thing with following commands.

1). bootinfo -r
2). lsattr -El mem0
3). lsatrr -El sys0 -a realmem
4). prtconf

all above command shows 48 Gb. but when i run lscfg -vl command it shows there are 32 DIMM of 2 GB ..even i have check in ASMI menus also there is no deconfiguration of mem.

so how to find out abt remaining 16 Gb mem. how to findout CUoD capacity..

Re: question abt CUoD

Hi,

Please find below URL to find CUoD key for your Pseries box. Here type machine model/type and serial number and find latest CUoD key enable additional memory. The same to be applied via ASMI menu as you don't have HMC.

Regards,
SURESH D
