Hi,

I want to use of svmon, so i try to install bos.perf.tool. but I faced some errors!

This is output of "smit install_all":

Hi there,

Just now, My problem was solved and I installed the packages!

How?...

At first, I downloaded the following Fix packages:

1. bos.perf.diag_tool.5.2.0.40.bff
2. peperfagent.tools.5.2.0.41.bff
3. bos.perf.tools.5.2.0.42.bff

From the "IBM Fix Central" in the following address:
"www-912.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/fixcentral"

and then copied them in a directory in my server. Then I copied the following packages from AIX CD1 into the mentioned directory, too.

1. bos.perf
2. perfagent.tools

And at last, I run "smit install_all" and select the mentioned directory as "directory for software" and then selected the packages. Everything gone ok.

Conclusion: We can use the same strategy for the same problems about package installation. Very obvious, of course!...
