We upgraded our system from an AIX RISC version 4.3 to an AIX RISC version 5.3

There are some printer Type Style & Pitches that I need to have; they are on the old system and not on the new one.

When you go into smit, Printer Spooling, Change / Show Print Queue Characteristics, Print Queue Name = “HP4200A”, (2) Default Print Job Attributes, and you hit ESC+4 at the “Type Style & Pitch” there are two sizes/fonts that I need.

They are: Letter15 and LetterGothicBold15.

The printer that is being used is an HP LaserJet 4200.

How would I go about transferring them from the old to the new system or go about building them or downloading them?

Anyway to do it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

I know hardly anything about printer and fonts. The only printer I ever configured are local PLAIN and remote Networkprinter. Be sure that the driver for your printer model is installed. Maybe this helps you any further Help -
