I'm building a fresh LPAR using AIX 5.3-TL05. I've made one change to the stock perl install, I've linked to the 64 bit executable. When I attempt to fire up perl and install a module from CPAN, I get an "out of memory error". When I run vmstat next to the process, I show *lots* of memory available. IBM doesn't answer support questions on perl, as it's GNU software, whether or not it's installed with AIX. Has anyone else seen this? Dave |
