Hi I heard once that AIX LVM subsystem allows for some kind of load balancing when reading from Mirrored Logical Volumes. It's supposed that when AIX detects a sequential reading pattern AIX tries to read ahead using the values of minreadahead and maxreadahead and tries to use both copies of the Logical Volume, if those copies are on different controllers some performance can be achieved. Do you know about this feature ?? Thanks in advanced
