Exclamation p5 9111-520 dont boot!!

hi everyone!
first i have to tell im new working with pseries serves so i really dont know too much...
i have a p5 9111-520 who has been turned off for almost 6 months, so the data in there is not usefull anymore, i tried to boot from a cd to reinstall AIX 5.3 but i never got the sms menu, i tried to change the boot order by command line but now it doesnt boot at all!

any solutions will be usefull!!!

Pull the onboard battery and let it sit for 15 minutes then update your firmware before trying to load AIX 5.3. It might work.
