Unhappy NIM Master corrupt

Hi,

Our problem seems to boil down to a restore of the nim master database. But i want to check if there is not another solution.

The problem is as follows :

for every define command on our nim master I get :

0042-001 nim: processing error encountered on "master":
0042-053 m_mkbosi: there is no NIM object named "sastst_mksysb"

For the record, i really try to make another mksysb then that of sastst ..!!
If i run a lsnim -l master i get :

<<cut>>
serves = sastst_mksysb
<<cut>>

but a lsnim -t mksysb doesn't show the same mksysb

from the log /var/adm/ras/: alog -f nimlog -o|more

--beginlog--
<> <master> <364556> <warning: 0042-001 m_mkbosi: processing error encountered on "master":
0042-154 c_stat: the file or directory "/export/mksysb/xxxstdby.mksysb" does not exist

0042-053 m_mkbosi: there is no NIM object named "sastst_mksysb"

etc.

--endlog--

After carefully examing all resources online such as IBM APARs etc, I am at my wits end. It's not a standard error, removing the sastst_mksysb is also impossible, restart agent doesn't help, and the nim config file is a database which i can't open to hack. Even odm searches couldn't help me really on this one.

Do i really have to restore my NIM DB (which would mean a reinstall of nim for us ) or is there something else i can try ?
